Aaron Wesley Parker was born on January 9, 1944, in Houston, Texas, the third child of Ben and Ola Parker. After 81 years, 4 months, and 11 days of a life marked by deep compassion, unwavering faith, and tireless service, Wesley passed away peacefully on May 20, 2025, in Oakwood, Texas.

Wesley was a man of profound generosity. He was always ready to lend a helping hand—offering not only assistance but also hope and dignity to those in need. His selflessness often defied logic: when advised he might be giving too much, he simply gave more, unconcerned about the cost to himself.

His dedication extended beyond personal relationships into his community and church. From stepping in as a t-ball coach when no one else would, to serving as Assistant Fire Chief for the Splendora Volunteer Fire Department, Wesley instinctively filled the gaps where help was needed. At Splendora Assembly of God Church, he faithfully served as Sunday School Superintendent, Royal Rangers Commander, Board Member, and more. Later, at Plum Grove Assembly of God, he was the go-to handyman and a devoted member of the Netcasters Ministry, participating in mission trips to build churches in Mexico and volunteering with Convoy of Hope to aid hurricane victims in Mississippi.

In April 1964, Wesley married Virginia Eason, with whom he shared 19 years of marriage and raised two children, Kelvin and Paula. In March 1984, he married Vicki Jacobs, embracing her children, Dixie and Jake, as his own. He was a father and role model not only in name but in action, living as a true example of a Godly man.

An adventurer at heart, Wesley loved traveling. From the Bahamas to Alaska, he was always the first to say, "Let's go." That same readiness marked his final journey, when he heard the Lord say, "let's go" and, true to his nature, went without looking back. Heaven has gained what we so deeply grieve.

Wesley was preceded in death by his parents Ben and Ola Parker, brother Ben Parker, son A.W. "Jake" Jacobs.

Wesley is survived by wife Vicki Parker, Children Kelvin Parker (Tammy), Paula Mejia (Paul), Dixie Groce (David), Grandchildren David Parker, Jennifer Parker, Bryan Mejia, Brandon Mejia (Kyle), Robbie Anderson, Shawn Anderson, Great-Grandchildren Kyler Parker, Grayson Mejia, Benjamin Mejia, Kamila Anderson. Siblings Beulah Davis (George), Rev. Earnie Parker (Sue), and Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
