Baldassaro Ned 'Pete" Roccaforte of New Caney TX passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024, in Kingwood, TX. Born on April 16, 1928, in Houston TX, he was the 3 rd son of Baldassaro Ned and Anna Manina Roccaforte.

Pete grew up in the Heights community of Houston and when duty called, he joined the US Navy to fight in WWII. He and his brothers are recognized for their service on a plaque at the Nimitz Museum in Fredericksburg TX. Upon return from the 'war' Pete attended and received an Engineering degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

An Engineer by trade, he had a knack for fixing things, he especially loved working on clocks. He liked dancing, was a skilled wood carver, and always prided himself on having a nice yard. A longtime resident of New Caney, he took great joy in getting together with friends at the New Caney Friendship Center, which he did for years without fail.

A man of faith, Pete was devoted to daily bible study and a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Huffman TX.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, NJ Roccaforte and Sam Roccaforte; sister, Anna Lee Fogle, stepson, Ronny Langley, and beloved wife, Eva Ruth Langley Roccaforte.

He is survived by a son, Chris Roccaforte, stepson, Randy Langley and wife Richele, stepdaughters, Cathy Vyoral and Judy Tallman. sister, Janice Lawson, goddaughter, Valanna Reed, 5 step granddaughters, 2 step grandsons, 5 great step grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of usual remembrances, donations may be made to Pete's church, Our Shepherd Lutheran Church PO Box 1509, Huffman, Tx. 77336.

As per his wishes, no formal services will be held.
