Barbara Louise La Rue passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in Kingwood, Texas. She was 81 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Phillips & Lucky Funeral Home in Giddings, Texas. A visitation will

precede the service. Following the funeral, Barbara will be laid to rest in the Lexington Texas Cemetery.

Barbara was born on May 7, 1943, to Gaten and George Rodgers, who preceded her in death, along with her brother, Danny Rodgers. She was an entrepreneur, owning Barbara's Beauty Supply for many years and serving as a beauty consultant. Later in life, Barbara became a real estate investor, owning and managing various properties until her passing.

She was a beloved wife to Leo La Rue, and a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Barbara is survived by her children: son Keith Kropik and wife Terri Kropik, of Porter, Texas; son Stacy Kropik and wife Rebecca Kropik, of Dodge, Texas; daughter Regina Archer and husband Craig Archer of Humble, Texas; and son Damon La Rue and wife Julija La Rue of New Braunfels, Texas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in honor of Barbara's memory.

Her family finds comfort knowing she is now reunited with her loved ones in the presence of the Lord.
