It is with deep sadness that we inform you that Betsy Ann Harvey, aged 71, passed away peacefully on July 2nd 2024, at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Betsy was born on December 13th, 1952, at Fayette Memorial Hospital in Connersville, Indiana to Willard Clayton Harvey Sr. and Marjorie Lou Nutty Harvey.

She graduated from nursing school at the age of 19 and continued to be a nurse for several decades. Betsy loved being a nurse. Her outgoing and hilarious spirit brought joy to many patients in times of despair. Her nursing skills would come in handy when she gave up her profession to move back to Indiana to take care of her dying parents. Betsy never met a stranger and always had the ability to make anyone smile. She loved telling jokes and making people laugh (or sigh). After battling many health problems throughout her life and being able to bounce back, cancer proved to be too powerful.

Betsy is now in heaven with her parents, brother Willard Jr., and beloved dog Buddy. She is survived by her son Alan Attaway, and daughter in law Tracy Attaway; granddaughter, Macy Attaway.

Betsy wished to not have a service. In lieu of flowers she wished that a donation be made in her name to The American Cancer Society
