Bonnie Montgomery went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 15, 2023. She was dearly loved by her family and friends, and her legacy of generosity and kindness will forever live in our hearts.

Bonnie was born on September 4, 1947, to Ted and Odessa Brown in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from Mount Carmel Academy and Loyola University, Bonnie received her dental hygienist license and continued to work for 50 years before retiring in 2017. She cared deeply for her patients and will be remembered for her personal connection and gentle care. In 1983, she married William Montgomery, the love of her life, and together they settled in Kingwood, Texas. She was a devoted Catholic and longtime member of St. Marthas Catholic Church. In all her activities, Bonnie always felt she received more than she gave and that is because she genuinely had a servants heart and a giving spirit. As a true Cajun, Bonnie enjoyed cooking a big pot of gumbo, dancing to New Orleans jazz, and hosting annual crawfish boils with her family. She always cherished wonderful times with friends, working in the garden, completing a challenging sudoku puzzle, and savoring any opportunity for chocolate ice cream. She adored her family and often said her most precious memories were their wonderful family trips.

Bonnie is survived by her loving husband, Bill Montgomery; daughter, Megan Beathard and husband Paul; newborn granddaughter, Nora; and sister, Cindy Booth. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Patricia Jemsek.

A private family service will be held in New Orleans. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider giving to Catholic Charities.
