Gerald A.P. Boyle (72) May 4, 1940-March 29, 2017; passed away at his residence. He was born to parents of E.B. Steven Boyle and Marie Lytle in Phildalephia, PA. Gerald is survived by daughter Lisa Marie Gibson, of Lincoln, MT; two step sons, Jeffrey J. Shank of Kingwood, TX and Michael S. Shank of Leawood, KS.; granddaughter, Jill Marie Gibson, Lincoln MT.; great-granddaughter Neisa Kelley, grandsons, Michael Phoenix Shank, Leawood, KS, Benjamin Gibson, Lincoln, MT.; granddaughter, Hope G Parsons. Gerry leaves sister Patricia Boyle Lynch, Clearwater, FL. and brother Richard Boyle Dunedin, FL. Gerry graduated from Penn State with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Operations and Management, working with Marriott, and Westin Corporations as Catering Operations Supervisor. Gerry was respected in the hotel catering industry, responsible for oversight of drafting plans for the hotel kitchen catering services for the Westin Hotel in KC, MO. After leaving the hotel business Gerry (Alex) got his CFP degree working with Principal Financial and his own company Financial Solutions. Gerry was a world traveler, gourmet chef, wine enthusiast, exceptional golfer, and serious tennis lover. Gerry loved his family and his friends and never met a stranger. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 15 at 3:00pm at Darst Funeral Home 796 Russell Palmer RD Kingwood, TX 77339.
