Michael Anderson was born on June 10, 1957, in Galveston, Texas. He passed away December 7, 2023, in Kingwood, Texas, at 66 years of age.

Mike was the third child of Joyce and Bernard Anderson. He was raised in Texas City, Texas, and graduated from Texas City High School in 1975. Mike attended the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 1980 with a degree in Business Administration. After graduation, he began working at Bethlehem Steel, but he spent the bulk of his career running his own business, Houston Orthodontics.

Mike married his wife, Pamela, in 1997 in Galveston, Texas. He lived the majority of his life in Houston, but he spent his final years in Kingwood, Texas, sharing a beautiful home with his loving wife, and surrounded by the nature he loved.

Beloved by family, friends, and neighbors, Mike always met you with a smile and a warm handshake or a hug. He lived his life quietly but boldly, and exactly as he wanted it to be. Mike was adventurous and inquisitive, and he never met a stranger. He knew how to enjoy a big party just as much as he relished his solitary hobbies. He loved to ride and restore motorcycles, was successful in his homebuilding and real estate ventures, and he had a great love of music, architecture, camping, and antique aircraft. He knew how to fix just about anything, and he enjoyed the challenge!

Mike and his wife traveled the world, visiting over 20 countries together and making countless fond memories. Mike loved animals dearly, and his beloved doggies had a kind and gentle friend in him. Mike was also a lifelong fan of the Astros. In his final working years, he provided security for the team, developing friendships with the players and their families along the way.

Alzheimers disease took Mike from his family and friends entirely too soon. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joyce and Bernard, and his brother-in-law and dear friend Nick Milosevich. He is survived by his wife, Pam; sisters Tyra and Cindy; his loving nieces and nephews; and his many friends.

Services will be held at Saint Mary of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church in Texas City, Texas on December 14, 2023. Viewing at 9:30. Funeral mass at 10:30. Internment to follow at Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimers Association or the Archdiocese of Houston-Galveston.
