Charles Wayne Edwards passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 85. He was born on October 26, 1940, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA to the late Hershel and Evya Edwards, who will welcome him in the next life. He was the 5th of 7 children.

Charles was a loving, reliable, ambitious, and dedicated individual known for his exceptional work ethic. He was employed as a Plumber and a Prison Guard, demonstrating his reliability in both roles. His dedication could be seen in his commitment to his work and to his family, always striving to provide for them. He was a familiar presence in his neighborhood, often seen walking the streets and engaging in spirited conversation with his neighbors. His love for 'talking crap', as he often referred to it, was a testament to his jovial and engaging personality.

Charles was a widower, having lost his beloved partner Herma Edwards, but he was not alone. He leaves behind his cherished children, Sandy Matin and Bobby Moore; grandchildren Krystle, Wayne, Callie, Elton, Ashton, Reno, Tommy, Berta, Christy, Brayson, Kason, Sam, Macie, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, daughter, and son in laws who will continue to honor his legacy. As the Irish proverb says, "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal." Charles' memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
