Clyde Calvin Caskey, Jr. passed away April 3, 2023 at the age of 78. He was born in Houston, Texas on October 8. 1944.

Clyde graduated from Spring Branch High School and went on to attend Henderson County Junior College to play basketball. He served five years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his discharge, Clyde worked as a service representative at Oilwell Supply retiring after 39 years.

In 1973, he married the love of his life, Sherry Miller. Together they raised three children, who blessed them with eleven grandchildren.

When he wasn't spending time with his grandchildren, Clyde enjoyed the outdoors. He and his buddy Rodger spent time fishing, hunting and playing golf.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Lynsey, Brittney, Faith, Ashley, Jordan, Carlton, Calvin, Bailey, Xach, Skylar and Keely; siblings, Margaret and Paul. Those preceding him in death are his children; Liz, Clyde and Norman; parents Clyde and Charlotte; Step parents, Ed and Elouise; brothers Bob, John and Steve.

A visitation will be held at Darst Funeral Home on Tuesday April 11, 2023 from 5-7 PM. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM at Darst Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Interment will follow at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
