Davidson Williams Case 73, died on December 28, 2021 with his family by his side in Kingwood, Texas. Dave was born September 12, 1948 in Sayre, Pennsylvania to Robert and Mary Frances Case. He had 4 younger siblings - Henry, Carolyn, Marshall, and Jonathan Case. They grew up in Scotia, New York. He was a determined young man who was an avid scrabble player, National Merit Scholar and a proud Eagle Scout.

After attending collage at Cornell University, he travelled to Dallas, Texas and was swept off his feet by Barbara Easley. They fell in love and married September 19, 1970. They had 2 children, Cynthia and Robert. Dave poured into his children by teaching them honesty, integrity, determination, service and the importance of family and respect for others. He was a successful business man with his job taking him to Concord, CA, Atlanta, GA, then back to Texas where he finished his career as Vice President of Allied Marketing. He was a hard worker and disciplined in all that he did. Dave inspired others to enjoy exercise such as running and biking and loved to challenge people in a game of Backgammon or Chess. Dave loved family vacations and enjoyed numerous scuba diving adventures, ski trips and time in the mountains at his home in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. He was a dedicated husband, proud father, entertaining "Uncle Dave", adoring grandfather "Papa D", loyal friend, and a genuine faithful Christian man.

Dave moved to Kingwood, Texas in in 2012 as he cared for his wife Barbara until the end of her days. He had many special times watching his "seven from heaven" grandchildren grow up in Kingwood. Dave then found love again after meeting Martha Greathouse in Colorado and they married on December 13th, 2014 at Kingwood Bible Church. They were involved in a small group there and made many wonderful friendships. Dave's health declined and he moved into Village Greens of Kingwood. He was instantly loved by his caregivers and known for his kindness and optimism to everyone he encountered. Dave is survived by his wife, Martha, his daughter and son-in-law, Dr. Cindy and Cody Smoot, his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Robert and Elaine Case, his brothers, Marshall and Henry, his sister, Carolyn, and his grandchildren, Will, Davidson, Casey, Kennedy, Jim, Ben, and Cory.
