Everyone called him "EZ." To the ones who loved Israel De Los Santos II, saying goodbye is anything but.

He was a beloved husband of 16 years to Courtney. To his children Briana, Alyssa, Trey, Brooks, and Ryan he was an irreplaceable fishing buddy, wrestling partner, listener, and consoler. He was loved to the core by his parents Dolores De Los Santos and Israel De Los Santos (Celia), his siblings Joel De Los Santos (Becky), John Arguello, Veronica Contreras (Bryan), Stephanie De Los Santos, Jacob De Los Santos (Jessica), and Daniel De Los Santos (Jennifer), numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Rosalie Juarez Arguello and Eulalio Arguello, and paternal grandparents Gregoria De Los Santos and Esperidion De Los Santos as well as various aunts, uncles and cousins.

After playing baseball at San Jacinto Junior College and Houston Baptist University, he became a larger-than-life coach to generations of Deer Park Deer, Clements Rangers, and George Ranch Longhorns. For countless others, he was an unforgettable friend.

EZ lost his battle with Covid on November 29 at only 46 years old. For 55 days he continually surprised his doctors by enduring setback after setback as he fought to come home to his family. He was a true warrior. In passing he saved the lives of others by being an organ donor. His family will be proud of him forever.

Services will be at River Pointe Church at 21000 Southwest Fwy in Richmond, TX, with visitation from 11 a.m. to noon with funeral to follow at 1 p.m. A celebration of EZ's life will follow at Scottys Saloon at Old Trading Post (114 Agnes, Richmond, TX).
