Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that our dear mother, Dolores O'Malley, has passed away after a long battle with heart disease, and we feel at peace knowing that she can truly rest now. Thank you for your visits, and support during this difficult time for Dolores and for our family. We would like to memorialize her by asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the charity of your choice or to the organizations Doctors Without Borders or the World Central Kitchen.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren: Son, Michael and his wife Pam O'Malley, their daughter Kayla and her husband Lance Weeden, their daughter Miyah, son Ayden, son Jaxyn. Mike and Pam's son Keegan and his wife Felycia O'Malley, and their children Caysen and Emberlee. Her daughter, Kandice O'Malley.

She is also survived by her sister-in-law Paula Call and many other family members and good friends. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Naomi Call, her husband Eugene O'Malley and her brother Clyde (Butch) Call.

Dolores and Gene met and married in the Argentine neighborhood of Kansas City, Kansas. Shortly after their first child was born, Gene had an opportunity to work in the booming oil industry and he relocated his family to Texas where they made a new life.

She was a member of South Avenue Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas for over 50 years and had many good friends and good times.

There will not be a service at her request. She will be placed in her columbarium niche at Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City next to her husband of 55 years and in their beloved hometown.

Please remember and celebrate Dolores in your own way.
