In Loving Memory of Dominic Rafael deOrbegozo

May 7th, 1997 - May 26th, 2023

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dominic Rafael deOrbegozo, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend. Dominics life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and embracing the joys of existence. He touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him and leaves behind an indelible mark on our lives.

Born on May 7th, 1997, in Humble, Texas, Dominic brought immeasurable joy to his parents, Christie Harris and Rafael deOrbegozo. As the third of three children, Dominic was fortunate with the love and support of his sisters, Christin and Tess, who shared in his adventures, accomplishments, and cherished memories.

Dominics journey through life took him to various places across the United States, leaving lasting impressions along the way. From Florida to California, Dominics spirit flourished, but it was in North Texas where he found his true sense of belonging, surrounded by the people he held dear.

At the age of 12, Dominics unwavering faith led him to be baptized, signifying a deep connection to his spirituality. His calm and serene demeanor, along with his innate kindness, left an enduring impact on all those fortunate enough to cross his path.

Dominics soul was as free as the wind, and he lived his life with an infectious spirit of adventure and joy. He found solace and excitement in the simple pleasures of life, spending countless hours engrossed in his favorite hobbies. Whether it was the softball field, the virtual worlds in video games, the energy of a football game, or the irreplaceable bonds of friendship and family, Dominic embraced each moment with a radiant smile and an open heart.

A celebration of Dominics life would be incomplete without acknowledging those who went before him. He now reunites with his beloved grandmother, Geri, his vibrant grandfather, Frank, his dear Tio Gabe and Tia June, as well as his Uncles Gary, Javier, and Fermin who await him with open arms.

Dominic leaves behind a legacy of love, which continues through those he held dearest. His adoring mother, Christie, and his devoted father, Rafael, will forever carry the imprint of his love within their hearts. His sisters, Christin and Tess, and brother in law, James, will forever treasure the bond they shared, woven with laughter, tears, and unwavering support.

In addition to his immediate family, Dominics spirit lives on through the lives of his beautiful nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Sydney, Jeremiah, and Hank. His love and influence will shape their lives, offering them a beacon of light and an eternal source of inspiration.

Dominics spirit will forever dance in our hearts, reminding us to embrace life fully, to love fiercely, and to treasure the bonds that connect us all.
