Don Allen
Dixon
Feb 29, 1988 — Mar 29, 2025
We bid a loving farewell to Don Dixon, a generous spirit, a loving soul, and a beacon of laughter for all who had the privilege to know him. Born in Humble, Texas on February 29, 1988, to Toni Ruiz and Don Sr., Don was a joy and a blessing to his family from the beginning. His captivating spirit and engaging humor made him a cherished member of the community, and his radiant smile was a testament to his unfailing love for his family and friends.
Don was a talented machinist, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, William Dixon, and his uncle, Robert Buffington. His hands, skilled from years of working in the metalworking business, were equally talented in sketching beautiful pieces of art. He was the family and friends' barber, a role he undertook with the same dedication and precision he displayed at his trade.
In his leisure time, he was an enthusiastic outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, a passionate music maker, and an avid gamer. Don's love extended to his beautiful children, Evan, Joshua, and Olivia, whom he adored and cherished. His love for them was a testament to his warm, loving heart.
He was indeed a generous man who refreshed and uplifted everyone around him. Don is survived by his parents Toni and Don Sr., his brother Steven and sister-in-law Inez, his niece Anya, his beloved fiancé Julie, his children Evan, Joshua, and Olivia, his godson Devyn, and godmother Lynn, and close loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and his friends whom he called his brothers Howard, Dale, and Ryan.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents William and Katheryn Dixon, Ricardo and Martha Ruiz.
Don's spirit will be forever remembered in a memorial service to be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 11:00 am at Darst Funeral Home, 796 Russell Palmer Rd., Kingwood, Texas, 77339. In these moments of reflection, let us remember Don for his spirited personality, his generous heart, and his loving nature. We invite you to share your memories of Don, upload photos, or simply express your condolences on his memorial page. His legacy lives on in the love he shared, the laughter he provided, and the memories he created.
