James L. Dudley was born in Brazos County, Texas on August 22, 1932. He passed away on July 21,2013 in Polk County, Texas. He was blessed with 57 years of marriage to his loving wife Juanita Dudley. James worked hard his entire life and retired from Baker Hughes Tool Company after 40 plus years. He also was a devoted Christian and a long time member of Aldine and Airline United Methodist Church and current member of First United Methodist of Livingston. He loved nothing more than to work at the church and spend time working in the yard. He also loved a good game of 42 dominoes. James was blessed with a very large family and preceding him in death are his parents John & Zula (Campbell) Dudley; eight brothers and seven sisters. He has many surviving relatives his wife, Juanita Dudley; two brothers, Donald and Richard; two sisters, Joyce and Judy; two children, Nancy and John(Debra); four grandchildren Jennifer(Paul), Joseph(Alecia), Ashley(Curtis), and Lindsey. Nine great grandchildren, Brittany, James, Brandon, Preston, Christopher, Jenna, Michael, Kayla, and Colt. As well as numerous special nieces, nephews, and friends. Our Papaw will be missed by many and will always be in our hearts. Service Information Visitation: A visitation was held on 2013-07-24 at Darst Funeral Home.
