Memorial services for Donna Eastman, 82, of Kingwood, will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden at Darst Funeral Home, 796 Russell Palmer Rd., Kingwood, Tx. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Darst Funeral Home.

Mrs. Eastman was born August 31, 1938 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Virginia (Eurton) and Robert McBride and died Saturday, September 12, 2020 in Humble, Tx.

She is survived by her children, Ann Kerchner(Patrick), Julia Pike (Robert), Reid Eastman (Lana), grandchildren, Sarah Pike Trotter, Jessica Pike, Adam and Jeremy Kerchner, Shelby, Grant and Dane Eastman, great grandchildren, McKenna Kerchner, Clover, Vivian and Helaina Trotter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Virginia McBride, brother, Robert McBride Jr, and sister, Phyllis Kruer.

She was a huge fan of IU basketball and continued to watch their games and cheer them on with much enthusiasm even after moving to Texas in 2003. She enjoyed being near family while living in Texas and also became a devoted Houston Astros fan and rarely missed a game.

Though your smile is gone forever, and your hand we cannot touch, still we have so many memories of the ones we loved so much. Your memory is our keepsake, with which well never part, God has you in his keeping, we have you in our hearts.
