Elizabeth Thompson 74 of Kingwood, Texas passed away peacefully on the morning hours of January 9, 2025. Elizabeth Irma Gaus was born on September 29, 1950, to Hartwell and Dorothy Gaus in Kanakee, Illinois. She found a deep and loving connection with John Lee Thompson Sr. Elizabeth and John spent the next 48 years together, raising a family of three children and many grandchildren.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband John Thompson. She survived by her loving family.

A visitation will be held at Darst Funeral Home at 6:00pm Monday January 13, 2024. A celebration of life will be held at Darst Funeral Home at 10:00am Tuesday, January 14, 2024. Elizabeth will be laid to rest next to her beloved John at a private ceremony at Houston National Cemetery.
