John George Favalora Sr., age 87, passed away on August 24th,2021 at Kingwood Hospital. Joining her husband, Joycelyn Arena Favalora, age 83, passed away on September 6th, 2021, at San Jacinto Hospital in Baytown; they both lost a courageous battle to covid-19. John was born on July 15th, 1934, in Meraux, Louisiana, and Joycelyn born on April 5th,1938 in New Orleans, Louisiana wed in the year of 1956 where they eventually moved to Gretna, Louisiana to raise their growing family. After thirty-three years of John working for the American Can Company following another ten years working for Jefferson Parish School system, where Joycelyn also put in thirty-five years in as a nutritionist; the two decided to take their retirement to Porter, TX to be closer to family. It is no secret that the love they shared was incomparably unique and blissful; to commit sixty-five years to one another takes two strong, compassionate, understanding, and giving human beings, and that is exactly what these two people were. They always left a mark on anyone they crossed paths with and will be greatly missed.

It is with a great misfortune that John and Joycelyn leave behind two sons: John George Favalora Jr. (Lisa Favalora-wife), and Craig Steven Favalora, four grandchildren: Shantel Favalora, Mandi Favalora (Jason Reardon-husband), Ashley Favalora, and Mayraha Favalora, three step grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
