1934-2015 Went to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ on December 24, 2015. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. from 1952-1955. Preceded in death by parents, William J. Gertrude M. Flannigan and sister, Elizabeth Boyle. Survived by his wife of 43 years, Paula; children, Kathleen, Colleen, James, Jr., Patrick, Michael (Ann) and Sean (Valerie); 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary (Keith) Thompson; sister-in-law, Carol Netzer; also many nieces and nephews. Visitation 9:00 AM Friday, April 1 at Cretin-Durham Hall Chapel, 550 S. Albert Street, St. Paul (use Albert St. Parking) followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Private burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cretin-Durham Hall, H.R. FDN Capistrant Parkinson's Center or charity of your choice.
