Freitag, Sundie
Paulette
Feb 10, 1952 — Jul 31, 2019
Sundie Paulette Freitag, 67 Lifelong Texas resident Paulette Freitag, age 67, passed into grace on July 31, 2019, at her home in Kingwood, Texas. At her request, no service will be held, but we will carry her in our hearts forever. Paulette (or "Polly" as she was called by her family) was born February 10, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Albert and Pauline Freitag. Paulette was a formidable and opinionated woman, that had a way with words and a hearty, distinctive laugh. She grew up and attended school in Deer Park, Texas with her younger sister Jeanne and brother Royce, whom she loved dearly. She attended Sam Houston State University, where she pursued her love and passion for music, becoming an amazing flutist and forging friendships which endured her entire life. Paulette worked for many years in the welding supply industry, eventually opening her own business, Arc Welding Supply, which she operated for nearly 30 years. She settled to Pearland, Texas where she raised her daughter Ashley, with whom she shared her love of music, penchant for humor, and distinctive laugh. Paulette was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Pauline, and is survived by her daughter Ashley and her husband Mike, grandsons Nathaniel and Mason, sister Jeanne, brother Royce and his wife Sarina, along with her nephews, niece, aunts, uncles, cousins, second cousins, bandmates, friends, neighbors, neighbors' friends, neighbors' friends' kids, and random people at the Dollar General, because she tended to leave a lasting impression (even with short interactions). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shepherds Chapel.
