A Soldier of Christ has passed April 20th 2024, George Anson Green. A man who dedicated his last years to his church and his wife, Carol. His faith filled his final days including the love of his parish family.

George a man of many talents: machinist by trade - manufacturing aircraft, spacecraft and nuclear submarine parts which eventually turned into wood working crafts, carving and building and remodeling homes. He considered himself an accomplished carpenter, electrician, plumber and mason. There are not many crafting skills he did not know how to do. His wealth of knowledge and teaching skills are seriously missed. His career moved about from machine shops in Michigan to his own shops in Arizona.

George eventually settled in Seattle, WA where he and his then wife, Judy Carlson (deceased), created a new adventure, Country Roots, using their talents on wood working: country furniture and crafts. They were a sought after in many craft shows.

George due to necessity took on another job, this time for Boeing Aircraft in Everett and Renton, WA where he retired voluntarily post 9/11. Moving then to his future project in Dillsburg, PA where he and his wife, Carol lived, remodeled home and worked and traveled until COVID. Forcing a move to Kingwood, Texas coupled with declining health George passed at 85-years.

George and Carol became Teamgreen doing most things together, including spiritual book group, adult education classes, Serra Club members, and Drama Ministry. Sir George Green also was an active 3rd and 4th degree Knight of Columbus member from Saint Mary Magdalene Parish, Humble Texas. Camping and traveling to National Parks and State Parks was a joy for him and listening to Clive Cussler books.

The Air Force was his first venture enlisting young and serving nearly eight-years. His MOS was bombs, missiles and nuclear weapons with top-clearances. He then married, Jannine Holko (deceased) their children George and Jill. Patrica Bonior (deceased) was his next wife with her two children, Kimberly and Rosalyn (deceased) whom George adopted. Their children are Steven and Maureen.

George is survived by his wife Carol (Wedde), sisters Barbara Lipanski (Roy) - MI and Constance Robbins - FL brother Thomas Green – FL. His children: George Green (Penny)-TX, Kimberly Fouts (Dan) – AZ, Jill Otero (Greg) – NM, Steven Green (Meredith) – MS, Maureen Mutsaers – AZ. Step-Children Dejah Swettenam (Troy)-WA, Holley Myers (Kevin)-WA. Twenty-six grandchildren and several great grand-children.

Preceding George in death are his beloved young sister Roberta Green and sister Claudia Hoffman and husband Tom. His daughter Rosalyn Russell and husband Tim Russell and step-son Christopher Runnels and grandson Kodi Otero. His parents Thomas and Rosalyn Green (Gersky).

Born April 19th 1939 Died April 20th 2024. Lived life fully every day of 85-years, to his ability, serving God and his Country. He is truly loved and missed.
