George Varghese (70), born on November 24, 1953 to the late GeeVarghese and Mariyamma Varghese of Kottakkakathu house in Kundara, Kollam, peacefully passed away on January 4, 2024.

Having a profound passion for teaching, he embarked on a career as a high school teacher at MKLMHS Government High School in Kannananalloor, Kollam, accumulating 20 years of invaluable experience after graduating from college.

In 1998, he relocated with his family to Houston, TX, driven by the desire to offer his children enhanced opportunities for career growth and reinforcement. He was a pillar of strength to his family, siblings and relatives. He has touched the lives of everyone who knew him with his unwavering support. He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, cherished memories shared with his devoted wife Saramma George and their two sons Varghese George (Jeemon) and Mathew George (Joemon). His family was completed through two loving daughters in law Anit and Lulu and his three grandchildren Megan, James and Nia.

He leaves behind a story etched in the hearts of his wife and sons. His spirit echoes in the laughter of his grandchildren, a chorus of joy that paints his memory in vibrant hues. From the same roots they sprouted, George Varghese and his five loving siblings Jacob Varghese (India), Cherian Varghese (India), Rajan Varghese (Australia), Anny Varghese (India) and Thomas Varghese (India). His time with us was too brief, but his spirit soared high. Celebrate his vibrant soul, cherish the moments shared, and remember, a life well-lived, even if short, leaves an indelible mark.
