Georgina Van Loon McLaughlin, 63, of Kingwood, TX, passed from this life to eternity with her Lord Jesus on October 22, 2023 after a long battle with breast cancer. She was a joyful, caring woman of deep faith.

Georgina was born January 25, 1960 in Chicago, IL. She married the love of her life, the late Larry Dwayne McLaughlin in 2009. She worked as a Product Manager for Insperity for over 20 years. She was deeply involved at Faith Family Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher and serving on the prison ministry, GLO Prayer Ministry and various national and international ministries. She also enjoyed knitting and embroidery.

She is survived by her mother, Jewel Van Loon, siblings William Van Loon, Daniel Van Loon, and Karen Cronce, many nieces and nephews, friends, and her treasured church community.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Faith Family Baptist Church on Saturday, November 11th at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Samaritans Purse, MD Anderson Breast Cancer Research or Faith Family Baptist Church.
