Carolyn Renee Gibson passed away peacefully on Thursday March 18, 2021. Renee was a big sister, mother, grandmother, and friend to be lived by all. Beautiful, independent, loved good music and memories. She was so brave with her battle with cancer, and felt love from family and friends until the end. She was born on October 8, 1956, in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Don and Bessie Mae Stephens who precede her in death. Renee is survived by daughter Jessica Elliott, husband Howard, and granddaughter Adalyn. Little brothers, Steve Stephens and wife Anne-Laure, Rick Stephens. Little sisters, Stephanie Zellner and husband Michael, Amy Rozzell, and Cathy Stephens-Hasenbeck. Niece Sarah Stephens, and nephews Stewart and Hunter Stephens, Joshua Hasenbeck. Also long time love, Harvey Ellis. Service Information A celebration of life will be held for Renee on April 16, 2021 in the garden at Darst Funeral Home at 2:00 pm.
