Glen Spencer Senters, Jr., age 78, passed peacefully Monday evening, July 10, 2023. He was born in Fairmont, West Virginia, to parents, Elizabeth Naumik and Glen Senters, Sr.

Moving to Chattanooga, Tennessee, at an early age, he soon became the big brother to Bob, John, and David, all within 5 years. The boys grew up in Hixson, north of Chattanooga. They enjoyed fishing, swimming, boating and water skiing on Lake Chickamauga.

Spencer graduated from Hixson High School, class of '62. He went on to attend the University of Chattanooga, and graduated in '69, before it became UTC. He then enjoyed a long career at E.I. DuPont, working in Chattanooga, TN; Wilmington, DE; Kingwood and Beaumont, TX. He loved golf, swimming and spending time with his family. One of his greatest joys in life was sharing as many details as possible to friends or strangers about his grandson, Parker. He was a member of Kingwood Methodist Church.

Spencer is survived by his wife of 54 years, Elaine Cork Senters; daughter, Allison Senters Tinkham, (Steve); son Glen Spencer Senters, III; his beloved grandson, Parker David Tinkham, who lovingly called him "PAPA"; brother, David K. Senters; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A private burial will be held for family. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm on Monday, July 17th at Kingwood Methodist Church at 1799 Woodland Hills Dr. Kingwood, TX 77339. A Reception will follow the service at the church. Please dress comfortably.
