Govind Gopal Jha, (44), loving father and beloved friend, passed away suddenly due to an unfortunate accident, on Saturday, July 1st, 12:32 am.

He is survived by his beautiful son, Aarav (8), and a large devoted family in India.

A loyal employee of L&T India, he worked hard and was a strong leader for his team. He had recently returned from India in March of 2023, after spending some time out of the U.S. due to personal reasons. The time that he spent here in Houston, as well as all around the U.S., with his friends and coworkers were full of laughter and fond memories.

One thing that Govind loved with all his heart was his son, Aarav. He dedicated all his time and efforts to making sure his son had a wonderful life. He was often seen taking him to the park, and sharing his favorite meal, biryani, with him. Aarav will return to India to live with his grandparents.

While Govind left us too soon, the impact he had on our lives will be felt for years to come. His warm smile, and joyful laugh will resonate in our minds and hearts forever.
