Ila Grace Egermeier, 89, of Kingwood, TX, peacefully passed away on March 28, 2024. She was born on April 18, 1934, in Ripley, OK. Grace was known for her creativity and loving kindness.

Grace grew up in Stillwater, OK. She went to Stillwater High School, where she sang in the choir and won state vocal competitions She attended Oklahoma State University.

Grace was a talented artist and created many amazing paintings over the years. She also enjoyed quilting and her beautiful quilts are among the treasures she left behind.

Grace was preceded in death and now reunited with her husband, Edward, and parents Roy and Dollie Daugherty. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones, children Deborah (Charles) Pogue, and James (Linda) Ell-Egermeier; grandchildren Jasmine Harrison, Kelly Pogue, Heather Pogue, Jonah Sargent Egermeier, Carl Ell-Egermeier, Curt Ell-Egermeier; and great-granddaughter Ari Harrison. She is survived by her dear siblings, Roy (Jeannie) Daugherty and Joyce (Verlin) Hart, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service honoring Grace's life will be held at a later date in Stillwater.
