Jeannine Gee Bryan was born on September 6 in Bronx, NY. She was the middle daughter of five girls born to Caribbean parents, Simalene Bullard and Clifford Bryan, who married many years prior to her birth. She resided in the Bronx until the Bryan family moved to a beautiful spacious home in Mount Vernon, NY. She was raised in a home environment where education was key to independence and success, which Jeannine adhered to throughout her elementary and teenage years. She attended public elementary schools in Mount Vernon and for Middle School attended Sacred Heart Catholic School. She had great success in both and went on to attend Mount Vernon High School. Her friendly, caring, adventurous, kind, and warm smile with her infamous dimple helped her easily make friends. Many of whom she remained close to beyond her youthful years.

Upon graduation, she was accepted to DeVry Institute of Technology in Ohio and graduated with a BA in Business Systems. She successfully secured her first significant job with a fortune 500 company, Merrill Lynch, which was located at World Trade Center in New York. She also worked for other great companies, such as, Oracle, CSC - Department of Homeland Security, Clorox, Jackson Healthy Systems, and more recently the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She also proudly served in the United States Armed Forces and was a retired Veteran. She went on to obtain her MBA from Elon University and acquired countless IT certifications. Jeannine not only professionally stretched herself, but was always reinventing herself in her personal life. She taught English to English Language Learners, played tennis, loved hiking, traveling, and learning and experiencing different cultures. She also lived in multiple states, and authored two childrens books, "The Bravest Little Soldier" and "How Much Does Hope Cost?"

Jeannine had a flourishing career and personal life, but her ultimate love beyond her strong faith, was her son, Atoure. She enjoyed being a mother and dedicated her life, loving and supporting her son with all of her heart and soul. Atoure was her pride and joywherever Jeannine traveled, he was right with her!

Jeannine was stricken with Cancer and fought a courageous battle. She never let it stop her inspiration as in this time she obtained her MBA and wrote the two children's books. In the words she coined with her writing to children "YOU Live Your Life by Your Terms, Not Cancers!" And, this she did all the way up until her Heavenly Father called her home. On August 13, 2022 at the age of 57, Jeannine Bryan peacefully transitioned in Houston, TX surrounded by family, friends, and a host of medical staff who provided her with the greatest care.

Jeannine was one of the sweetest, kindest, and loving people one could meet. She was the jokester in the family and always kept everyone laughing, either with a hilarious word or a funny face. Her laughter, voice, warm smile and dimple will be sorely missed. She will forever live in the hearts of all those near and far. Jeannine is survived by her son, Atoure, mother, Simalene, four sisters, Audrey, Glenda, Alethia, Vanessa and her husband, Timothy, two nieces, four great-nieces, one nephew, an uncle, a host of aunts, cousins, and many friends.
