Jesty K. Koshy (62), of Houston, Texas (Son of late Mr. K.K. Koshy and Late Mrs. Mary Koshy, Thekkethalakal, Chengannur, Kerala) went to his heavenly abode on April 2, 2023.

Jesty graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Art from the College of Fine Arts, Trivandrum. After graduating, he worked for several advertising agencies in India. Later, he moved to Dubai where he owned a successful printing press- Zenora Advertising. In 2010, Jesty moved to the United States where he worked as a graphic designer for Luminess Air.

Jesty was extremely talented and creative, not only in his career, but in every aspect of his life. He had a love for music that started when he was a child, and as he got older, he began to pick up other arts- such as painting. Anyone who has seen his paintings knows they have a unique and modern style- much like Jesty himself, with the exception of color. His paintings were always full of vibrant colors while his wardrobe was solely black, no matter the occasion. His creativity didn't stop there; it expanded into the kitchen. The way he prepared his meals and created recipes was a work of art. He enjoyed cooking for those he loved, and it's safe to say his meals were always enjoyed by all. Jesty has done it all. From an artist to an entrepreneur, he made sure to execute everything he got involved in with perfection and quality.

Jesty was a dedicated member of St. Thomas CSI Church of Greater Houston. He served on the executive board and the building committee. He was also a member of the choir and the male voice singing group. Jesty could do magic with his bass guitar as he participated in various community and ecumenical programs. With his God given talents and his grand church vision, he was able to integrate his creativity into the design process for the new church.

Jesty is survived by his wife Shirley and his two sons, Jesh and Jake, along with their wives Jasmine and Sonia. He is also survived by his sisters Jannet, Julie, Joan, Jessy and his brother Jen along with their families.

Paul bearers will be Jesh Koshy Jesty, Jake Cherry Jesty, William Patrick Fenton, Vincent James Codarin, Koruthu John and Roy Williams.

All services will be ministered by St. Thomas CSI Church of Greater Houston. Wake and Funeral Services will be hosted at Immanuel Mar Thoma Church, 12803 Sugar Ridge Blvd, Stafford, TX 77477. The wake will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment services will follow at 1:00 p.m., at Forest Park Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
