Julie Rene McGee, 63, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, in Humble, Texas. She was born on December 15, 1962, in Jacksonville, Florida, to James and Nancy Gleim.

Julie was a United States Navy veteran and University of Florida graduate. She was a gifted salesperson and excelled in a variety of roles throughout her career. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and was an avid animal lover. Her beautiful, bright personality brought joy to everyone she met, and she will be forever missed.

Julie is survived by her husband, Kevin, her son, Lucas and his partner, Hana, her father, James, her sisters, Stacie and Jodi, her best friend, Kathleen, and a host of other friends and family. She is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy.

A private ceremony will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal shelter or veterans charity of your choosing.
