Karen Dydek passed away peacefully on September, 7th 2022. She was born to Joseph and Hattie Dydek on December 18thth 1952 in Hialeah, FL.
Dedicated to learning more, and continuing her education, Karen achieved a Masters degree in education from Texas Christian University. Karen was a cat lover throughout her life. She enjoyed skiing and needlepoint. She lived for thirty years in Bedford, Texas. When she was diagnosed with Alzheimers Disease, she moved to Kingwood, Texas to be near her family. Internment will be at Houston National Cemetery.
Karen is survived by her daughter, Megan Alexandra Dydek; brothers, Fredrick Joseph Dydek, and Dan Bradley Dydek; sister-in-law, Margaret Holmes Dydek; niece, Joanne Dydek Winkler; nephew, Matthew Jedidiah Dydek; great-nephew Zachary Stephan Winkler; and numerous other family and friends who all loved her dearly.
Karen is predeceased by her husband, Alan James Kornsey; and parents Joseph Charles Dydek and Hattie Jenny Metzner.
