Karen Theresa Webb went to be with the lord Wednesday, November 6, 2024 in the comfort of her family home in Kingwood Texas. After surviving breast cancer, she lost a yearlong battle to a disabling lung disease.

Karen was born August 12, 1962 to Kenneth and Theresa Wilson of New Caney, Texas. Following high school she moved into Houston to begin her career as a records clerk at Brown and Root. It was there that she met her loving husband of 43 years, Jody. Karen remained working until the birth of her daughter, Katy. While raising her daughter and her nephew Bobby, during his teenage years, her hands were quite full. However she still managed to take on many other roles such as PTA mom, Girl Scout Troop leader, proud KHS pep-squad mom, and other various roles within the community. Karen thoroughly enjoyed hosting family events, celebrating birthdays and holidays, having her nieces and nephews over for sleepovers, and was the true matriarch of her family. Along with being a proud mother, Karen was also an extremely proud Grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and always supported them any way that she could.

Besides spending time with her family and friends, Karen enjoyed soaking up the sun, watching butterflies, gardening, listening to rock n roll, sipping margaritas or her classic rum and Pepsi, attending concerts, and going on road trips. Karen touched the lives of many people with her loving and caring personality- although her face did not always show it- anyone that had ever met her would describe her as one of the nicest and kindest people they had ever met.

Karen is survived by her husband, Joseph "Jody"; her daughter Katy; her grandchildren: Cameron, Kaegan, and Karlee; her siblings: Robert, Kenneth, and Brenda; her sister in laws Trinette, Laura, and Virginia; her brother in laws James, Mark, and Michael; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Theresa Wilson; as well as her loving sister in law Lesa Wilson and niece Sunshine Reed.
