Lloyd Wayne Lambert, 73, passed into eternal life on Friday, September 11, 2015, surrounded by his family. Lloyd was born in Houston on March 27, 1942, attended Lamar High School and Marian High School, and then joined the United States Air Force serving in Zaragoza, Spain. He was a generous and gregarious man who loved his family. Lloyd is predeceased by his parents, Claudie and Sam Lambert. He is survived by his children: Sheryl Lambert Haas and her husband Andy, Stephanie Box Shanks and her husband Kirby, Steven Lambert and his wife Valerie; brothers: Ronnie Lambert and Donald Lambert; along with his precious grandchildren who affectionately called him Papa: Drew and Jordan Haas, and Cade, Olivia, and Nicole Shanks.

Lloyd enjoyed an 11 year career as a manager with Xerox in New Orleans and Houston. His subsequent real estate career included serving as President of Mel Powers Investments and President of Mac Haik Enterprises Management and Leasing. He oversaw planning and development of The Arena Office Complex, 8303 Southwest Freeway building, Kirkwood Atrium III, and many others before starting his own commercial development company. One of Lloyd's greatest achievements was taking his talents to West Africa to serve as missionary/country director for Living Water International-Liberia, managing the infrastructure development of safe water wells, and later helping to establish faith-based schools to train hundreds of Liberians impacted by the civil war in construction and industrial programs. Throughout his career, he remained passionate about smart building integrated technology solutions and consulted for commercial and residential clients. Lloyd's last place of employment was Locke Protective Services where he found great satisfaction protecting the safety and security of a number of Houston office buildings and their tenants.

One of Lloyd's greatest loves was flying; he enjoyed performing aerobatics in his biplane, as well as flying helicopters and multi-engine planes. Lloyd was a past secretary of the Gulfway Hobby Rotary Club of Houston, and a former member of The White Hall Club of Houston. His passion was serving Jesus Christ and helping others. Lloyd made friends around the world at every turn and will be missed by a great many people. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Living Water International.
