Larry Clayton Smith, 62, a resident of Kingwood, Texas, passed away on January 16, 2024. Larry was born in San Angelo, Texas, on November 16, 1962. Throughout his career, Larry engaged in diverse fields. From his early days in broadcasting to his contributions in construction, small business ownership, and over-the-road driving, Larry presented adaptability and embraced new challenges.

Over the last five years, Larry contributed his professional expertise to TALKE USA, commencing his journey as a truck driver before transitioning to a pivotal role within the Safety and Training department. Larrys tenure at TALKE included unwavering loyalty, particularly evident in his steadfast commitment to prioritizing safety across all facets of the organization. His dedication and unparalleled work ethic set a standard of excellence that resonated throughout his tenure. Known for his diligence, Larry approached each task with a relentless determination, ensuring that no responsibility was left unattended.

His legacy within the company is a testament to his tireless efforts, leaving an indelible mark on the Safety and Training department. His teammates will remember Larry for his professional contributions and the enduring commitment and values he brought to his colleagues.

Larrys impact extended far beyond his professional life, touching the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. Larry found joy in various pursuits, including cheering for his beloved Dallas Cowboys, honing his golfing skills, strumming melodies on his guitar, and enjoying quality time at the gun range with friends. A devoted Torchys Tacos fan, Larry savored lifes simple pleasures.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Holberg Nall of San Angelo, Texas. Left to cherish his memory is his stepson, Martin Herrera of Pleasanton, California.
