Celebrating the Life of Lorrene Willmore Hubbell (January 11, 1955 – April 20, 2026)

Lorrene Willmore Hubbell was born on January 11, 1955, in Brooklyn, New York, to Leif and Lina Johansen, and passed away on April 20, 2026.

An only child, Lorrene spent her early years in Brooklyn before moving to Flekkefjord, Norway, where she lived until 1979. She later made her home in Humble, Texas (until 1991), and then in Kingwood, Texas, where she lived for many years.

She attended high school in Brooklyn and attended nursing school in Norway.

Lorrene built a dedicated working life as a legal secretary, known for her intelligence, persistence, and dedication.

She married Jeffrey Hubbell on March 11, 2000 at their home in Kingwood, Texas.

Lorrene was a faithful member of Holy Comforter Lutheran Church and believed deeply in God and the Lutheran church.

To those who knew and loved her, Lorrene was a warrior—caring, intelligent, and defined by perseverance.

Among the most important events in her life were the birth of her three sons, and later celebrating each of their marriages.

She loved gardening and, above all, spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Her favorite music included country and classic rock and roll.

The family invites all who attend to keep the service both celebratory and reflective, honoring Lorrene's life, strength, and love.
