Wanda Corner Mares 71, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2013 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. A long-time resident of Humble, TX, she was proceeded at death by her husband, Larry Corner. In addition to several brothers and sisters, she was also survived by her current husband, Armando Mares, her daughters Terri Bell Cobb (husband Jay Goldberg), Michel Miller (husband Randy Miller) and son, Keith Corner. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Joshua Bell (wife Crysie Bell) and Nichole Miller. Visitation is April 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at The Darst Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:00 AM on Tuesday, April 9th at St. Mary Magdalene at 527 S. Houston Ave, Humble, TX. Interment to follow at Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
