Margaret was born in Liberal, Missouri on May 2, 1934. She was the third of four children born to Marshall and Uva Blincoe. She was raised on a farm during the years of the Great Depression and talked a lot about the tough times they lived through, and her older brother leaving for the war as a young man in order to support the family. Thankfully, they had a garden where they grew their own food and a milk cow so they were never hungry during those rough days.

Margaret left home in the early 50's and studied to become a nurse. She worked in a hospital where she met her first husband, Roger Ryman, who was in the United States Air Force. They married in 1954 and moved to Houston where shortly afterward she gave birth to their first daughter.

They raised their family in Houston along with her new family consisting of her sisters and brothers-in-law and their children, bonding with them as they all spend time together with all of their children as well. Roger and Margaret divorced in 1973 but she always stayed close to his family. She remained single for many years.

While working for a funeral home in Jacksonville, Texas she met Kenneth Etheridge. They were soon married and spent 15 years together in Kingwood, Texas. Sadly, Kenneth passed away in 2019.

Margaret leaves three children, Debbie Spiers, Marsha DeWolfe and Kenny Ryman; stepsons, Michael and Floyd Etheridge; grandchildren, Cory Lowe, Austin DeWolfe and Taylor Etheridge; three great-grandchildren, Preston, Aiden and Sarah Lowe; stepsons, Michael and Floyd Etheridge; two brothers and two sisters.

She is preceeded in death by two sisters as well as both Roger and Kenneth.

A visitation will be held at Darst Funeral Home in Kingwood, Texas on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 12PM with a service to follow at 1PM.
