It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark James Davies. He passed away unexpectedly at the age of 55 in Humble, Texas on November 7th, 2022. He was born on November 22nd, 1966 in Bryan College Station to Ruth and David K. Davies.

He was a devoted father to his Daughters, Son, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew and Friend to all. Mark was a fierce protector of those he cared about and generous with resources and time for causes important to him. He credited his parents for instilling the value of giving back and learning.

He had an outrageous sense of humor was unbelievably whitty. He had a great passion for sports, especially football, but most of all doing what he loved the most, spending time outdoors. Mark was a renowned hunter and fisherman. He truly enjoyed spending every weekend of hunting season at the ranch with his girls. He attended Texas Tech University and graduated from University of Houston with a degree in History. He was the ultimate business development professional in oil and gas. There are so many more things to say about him, but each person that has been blessed to have known him will carry a special memory of him within. He is preceded in death by his father, David K. Davies. Service Information A celebration of life service will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.., Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Darst Funeral Home Gardens.
