Mark Duane Smith was born on December 23, 1949 in Nashua, New Hampshire, to parents Glen and Beverly Smith. He passed away in Kingwood, Texas, on May 29, 2024.

Prior to retirement Mark was previously employed by  Associated Grocers of New England and Hannaford Supermarket.

Mark loved his family and friends. He looked forward to golfing outings and watching sports and having a beer with friends

He was predeceased by his wife, Gail. He is survived by his two children: Josh Smith and his wife Charlotte of Humble, Texas; and Megan Landry and her husband Shawn of Merrimack, NH. His grandchildren Josh Smith Jr., and Tucker and Baily Landry. He is also survived by his brother Warren Smith and wife Paula and his sister Margo Smith; as well as many nephews and a niece.
