Martha S. Savoy, age 85, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2026. Born on July 7, 1940, in San Antonio, Texas, Martha was a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a graduate of Burbank High School and worked as a collection agent for Sears Roebuck and Riata Cadillac. She enjoyed gardening, trips to Las Vegas and spending time with family and friends.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Cheryl A. Gardner, son-in-law, Rick Gardner, and her grandchildren, Anthony, Joseph and Philip Gardner, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James S. Savoy, parents, Charles D. Steinman and Mary Louise, her sisters, Mary Anaya/Manuel, Ann Vander Wey/Clarence, Ruth Thomas/Jim, and brother, Charles G. Steinman/Dollie.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Rosemont Assisted Living, Kingwood Memory Care and Devotion hospice for their care of Martha.

Interment will be held on March 17, 2026, at 2:15 p.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
