Mary Ellen (Burger) Murray was born on December 29, 1942, in New Haven, CT to Fletcher (Buddy) Burger and Mariane Burger. She was the oldest of two children, born in New Haven, CT, moved to Cranston, RI and grew up in Acton Mass. That’s where Mary Ellen attended High School. From there Mary Ellen went to school in Boston to become an X Ray Technician devoting her life to helping people and wanting to work in the medical world. Upon graduation, Mary Ellen worked in Hospitals in Boston and Houston, Texas area as a trained - licensed X-Ray Technician for the next 45 years performing millions of X-Rays

Mary Ellen married the love of her life, Robert McClain Murray on December 2nd, 1972, at St Mary Chapel in Sudbury Ma. Robert and Mary Ellen would have four children Roland, Richard, Grant, and Paige. After growing up in New England, Bob and Mary Ellen moved to Kingwood, Texas where she lived with her loving husband Robert, and children Grant and Paige for the past 40 years.

Mary Ellen was a devoted Catholic and a proud partitioner at St. Martha's Catholic Church in Kingwood, Tx were her husband, Bob, he, and his brother Jimmy helped build many years ago.

While not a huge sports fan, Mary Ellen had no choice but to be surrounded by it as her husband and children were all avid sports fans, especially her husband Bob who would watch any sports at any time and knew all the statistics. Mary Ellen’s favorite music was country and western, and Irish Tenors and loved spending time by the water and boating whenever she could.

After retirement, Mary Ellen enjoyed spending time with family and tried to enjoy her golden years. The family would like to thank his special friends Judy & Kenny Tidwell and Malia & Jack Pruit.

Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert McClain Murray, their daughter; Paige McCabe Murray, son Grant William Murray, Father; Buddy Burger, Mother; Marian Burger. Brother; Fletcher Burger, Robert’s Twin Brother; Richard Murray, Sister in laws; Nancy Rodgers, Janet Anderson, Blanche Belliveau, Patricia Eldridge, and Una Zousimas. Brother in laws; James Murray, Michael Murray, and Thomas Murray. Mother-In-Law Helen Curtain, Father-in Law; Robert Murray, Jack Collins, Ed Anderson, Butch Eldridge, and Charles Belliveau.

Mary Ellen is survived by her sons, Roland Murray and Richard Murray. Daughters in law; Donna Murray and Cynthia Murray. Grandchildren; Alex Murray (Lauren), Ainsley Murray, Christian Murray (Hailey), and Sebastian Murray (Margaret). Step Grandchildren; Riley Cote and Cameron Higham. Great grandchildren (4); Walker McClaine & Paisley Mae Murray (Christian & Hailey), Emersyn Reese Murray (Sebastian & Margaret), and Step Great Grandson; Zander Cote (Riley). Sister in Laws Annie Collins, Cora Lynn Varone (Alan), Jane Spano (Ralph), Edna Murray, Mandy Murray, and Judy Murray. Brother-in-law’s Dennis Rodgers and Sammy Zousimas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Now Mom (MaryEllen) and Dad (Bob) are happy together again, they are smiling looking down and watching over all Murray’s and their families here on Earth. We will be celebrating Mary Ellen’s life at a later date at Saint Catherine's in Sommerville, MA (where Mary Ellen’s husband Bob was an Alter boy in his younger years).
