Bowers
Oct 24, 1965 — Jul 19, 2024
Michael Eugene Bowers, 58, of Porter, Texas passed away in a motor vehicle accident on Friday, July 19th, 2024, while working out of town in Coffeyville, Kansas. Michael was born on October 24,1965 in Pensacola, Florida to Carolyn and Michael Bowers and a one-year-old sister, Carla. When Michael was six years old, Andrew Caul married Carolyn and brought along six new sisters.
Michael grew up in many towns and states traveling with his family to Andrew's career. The finally settled and he graduated from Baytown High School.
Michael followed in Andrew's footsteps working in the demolition industry from his early twenties until his very last day, making many, many friends he truly loved.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to his wife and children. He was a wonderful loving husband and a super terrific daddy who loved his kids to the end of the earth. Michael married Victoria on December 15, 2007, and gave her four bonus children as well as the two beautiful babies she begged for.
Michael is survived by his wife Victoria, their children Benjamin 14, Isabella 17, Kaleb 21, Destiny 26, Cody 27, Josh 32 and his two bonus children Lauren 28 and Trent 32. Michael was also blessed with a one and only grandchild, Louie Atlas Bowers, age 9.
Michael is also survived by his sister Carla, her husband Ray and their four sons; Ray, Brian, Charlie and Tony whom he loved very much. Between these four nephews there are seven great nephews and one great niece. He is also survived by his bonus sisters Shellie and Jimmy Hart, their children and grandchildren. Valerie and Scott Blackman, their children and grandchildren, and Sherry Gunter with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his Uncle Terry and Aunt Kathy, Aunt Brenda, Aunt Andy, Aunt Jeannie, and many first, second and third cousins.
Michael is proceeded in death by his parents, Carolyn and Andrew Caul, and his sisters, Ann, Wanda, and Helen.
Though he has departed from this world as a Christian who loved God, I know he is in Heaven and his love will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to have known and love him.
We will miss Michael, and I will always love you! Forever and always yours, Victoria.
