Michael Wayne Toombs, 64 of Humble, Texas passed away at his home on April 8, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born in Carrollton, KY to Dwayne Junior Toombs and Mary Ann Miller.

He grew up in Bedford, KY with his 2 sisters and brother. Michael attended Trimble County High School (Class of 1976) where he made many lifelong friends. Michael moved to Texas in 1981,and was happy to make TX his forever home.

He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman, he spent many days hunting and fishing with his son. He enjoyed cooking, and competed in many barbeque cook offs. Michael spent his career as an oil and gas salesman. He was very devoted to his customers and serviced them for many years. He had the greatest sense of humor and always made people laugh. His beloved dog Oskar, was always by his side. He will be greatly missed by many friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Beth (Reams), his loving son Austin Michael, Sisters DeAnna (Donnie) Lewis, Melisa Hayden, brother Blandon (Beth) Toombs, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dwayne Junior and Mary Ann Toombs, Maternal grandparents Willie D and Annabelle Miller, Paternal grandmother Ruby Danner Tombs and brother in law Darrell Hayden

Family and friends are welcome to attend the memorial service, which will be held at Darst Funeral Home at 796 Russell Palmer Rd., Kingwood, TX 77339 on Saturday April 22, 2023 from noon-2:00 pm.
