Obituary

Nathan Blake Lowery, age 17, of Kingwood, Texas, passed away on June 27, 2026.

Nathan was a beloved son, brother, grandson, family member, and friend whose life touched the hearts of those who knew him. He will be remembered as kind, smart, funny, authentic, empathetic, talented, athletic, determined, thoughtful, and amazing. These are just a few of the words his friends used to describe him.

Nathan had a calm and patient way about him. Those who loved him will forever carry the memory of his kind, gentle, and understanding spirit. He was like a ray of sunshine, even on a cloudy day.

Nathan loved sports, especially volleyball. He also had a love for the violin. He enjoyed going to the gym and was always working to better himself. He had a positive outlook on life and loved to talk with and meet people, even though he was also private and did not like to overshare. He was easy to trust, worked hard, and had a way of making difficult things seem effortless.

He is survived by his father, Dustin Lowery; his mother, Margaret Lowery; his sister, Kyra Lowery; his grandfather, Joe Don Lowery; and his grandmother, Dee Ann Chapman. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ralph Medolla, and his grandmother, Adele Medolla.

A service to honor Nathan's life will be held on July 9th 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Kingwood Embassy.

Nathan was deeply loved, and his memory will remain with his family and friends always.
