Obituary

Norma Jean Miller "Granny"

Norma Jean, 78, of Porter, Tx, entered eternal rest on Friday, November 8, 2024. Norma was born on July 9, 1946 in Oakdale, Louisiana to Maudie and H.C. McHenry.

Norma was the kind of person you could always count on, no matter the situation. She had a heart full of selflessness, always putting others' needs before her own, especially when it came to family. Her unwavering dedication to us was always evident, whether she was making sure everyone felt loved or stepping in when someone had a need. No matter the challenges she was facing, her commitment to her family never faltered. Her love, support, and dependability made her the glue that holds us all together.

Norma leaves behind to cherish her memory: her daughter and son and law, Angie and Wayman Biles; son, Chris Willis; daughter and son and law, Cheree and Chris Love; grandchildren, Clarissa Phillips, Erika Willis, Morgan Davis, Cerrisa Dozal, Christopher Willis, Chandler, Cassidee, and Caigan Love; great grandchildren, Kannon and Tegan McLeod, Paislee Davis, Adilyn, Zayne, Mariah Willis, and Kayden Dozal; sisters, JoAnn Meadows, Pam Fontenot, and Roxanne Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by: her father, H.C. McHenry; her mother, Maudie McHenry; her brother, Danny McHenry; her brother, Harold McHenry; her sister, Sharon Zamarron.
