Laura Ruth Odom passed away to eternal life Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the age of 59. She was born in Houston, Texas on September 3, 1959. Lauras incredibly kind and loving spirit touched so many in her life. All who knew her loved her, but no one loved her as much as she loved all of us. Laura enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and cooking meals for her family and friends. Her faith in God was evident in how she treated everyoneshe met, and her legacy is marked by her compassionate, unconditional love.

She is survived by her eldest son, Doyle Eugene Odom III & his wife Octavia, and younger son, Ryan Luke Odom & his wife Jen; grandson, Luke Richard Odom; fiance Eddy Allen; mother Claudine Sewell, and siblings James, Susan, Rebecca. Steven, Charles and Richard. She is preceded in death by her father Enos Doyle Sewell.
