With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Patricia Shergur, who entered eternal rest on December 8, 2024, in Houston, Texas.

Born on December 26, 1953 in Harlingen, Texas, Patricia lived a life filled with love and devotion to her family. She was known for her kind and gentle spirit, which touched the lives of everyone she met, especially her cherished grandchildren.

She was a devoted member of her church and a woman of faith who found joy in serving others and sharing love with her family and friends.

She leaves behind her loving children, Greg Shergur and Wayne Shergur III; grandchildren, Greg Shergur, Kaleb Shergur, Luke Shergur, Zachary Shergur, Joshua Shergur, and Conor Shergur; sister, Cynthia Haagenson; and mother, Marjorie Garnett. She leaves a legacy of kindness and grace. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Shergur Jr., and her father, Beltran Correa Garcia.

A memorial service celebrating Patricia's life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Cypress Bible Church, 11711 Cypress North Houston Rd., Cypress, TX 77429.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cypress Bible Church in her memory.

Though she is no longer with us, her kind and gentle presence will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. We take comfort in knowing that she now rests in the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
