Peter Siebertz, age 89, passed away July 18, 2025. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday August 16th, 2025, at 11:00 am. at St Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd. Howell, MI. Visitation will be in the church at 10:00 a.m. A luncheon will be held in the church hall after Mass. Peter was born in Berlin Germany on January 24th, 1936, to parents Herbert Henry Ross and Margarete Siebertz. Peter married Maria (Presley) Siebertz on January 24th, 1959, and they were married for 65 years. He proudly became a United States citizen on May 7th, 1963. Peter worked for General Motors at the Willow Run plant for 30 years and retired on May 1st, 1991. He enjoyed spending time in nature, hiking, swimming and having campfires with his family. He loved riding motorcycles, and his Basset Hounds and Biewer Terriers. Peter is survived by his children Lisa (David) Papp, Shawn (Ganga) Siebertz, Joel (Tina) Siebertz, and Erik (Molly) Siebertz; grandchildren Joel Jr., Sarah, Maegan, Luke, Derek, Marissa, Lily and Sophia; great granddaughter Adelyn. He was preceded in death by his wife Maria and his lifelong friend Dieter Christ.
