Pricilla Sanders was born on August 12, 1946, in Port Neches, Texas, to Ralph Lamar Harrington and Helen Virginia Alsup Harrington. She was the first of five children and spent her early years in Texas, where she developed the values of hard work, compassion, and devotion to family that defined her life.

Pricilla attended Galena Park High School, graduating in 1964. She earned her high school diploma and later became a certified Data Entry Specialist. After graduation, she began her career in the oil field before joining Farmers Insurance. Over more than 20 years with Farmers, she started in an entry-level position and advanced into claims through her exceptional typing skills, dedication, and professionalism. During her employment, she earned additional certifications that expanded her skills and knowledge. She retired in 2010 after more than two decades of service.

On December 4, 1967, Pricilla married James R. Sanders at the Fort Bend County Justice of the Peace. Their marriage was one of the most important events of her life, along with the birth of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Pricilla lived in Houston, Flagstaff, Austin, and Kingwood, Texas. She was a faithful member of Glendale Baptist Church and lived her faith through kindness, generosity, and service to others.

After retirement, Pricilla enjoyed traveling around the world, taking road trips, attending family gatherings, and always helping her family whenever she was needed. Her favorite hobbies included reading, sightseeing, tending to her plants, watching her favorite soap operas (The Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives), and spending time with family. She enjoyed music ranging from old hymns to Kenny Chesney, Red Clay Strays, and even Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby."

She was blessed with many special friendships, including Jeanine Pruett Harrington, Joann Lepkowski, Kim Glascock, Diana Medina, Damas Pruneda, Judy Shuffield Norman, Kathy Dethlefs, and Joan.

Five words that best describe Pricilla are selfless, wholehearted, nonjudgmental, empathic, and benevolent. Her love, warmth, and generosity touched all who knew her.

Survived by her son, James Richard Sanders II and wife Stephanie; her daughter, Rachael Lea Westbrook and husband Andrew; her grandchildren Lauren Taylor and husband Dustin, Haley Arestie and husband Ryan, Sierra Tobia and husband Peter, Emma Sanders, Ava Sanders, Bella Sanders, Ivy Raley and husband Seth, and Laith Sanders-McLown; her great-grandchildren Flynn Liam, Leo, Wrynn, Clover, Rory, Everlee, and Austin; her sister Patricia Fanchere and husband Coy; her brother Jimmy Harrington and wife Lisa; her sister Deborah Foster and husband Jimmy; and her nieces and nephews Jeannie, Heather, Dustin, Terri Marie, Allison, Dave, Mackenzie, and Luke.

Preceded in death by her father Ralph Lamar Harrington, her mother Helen Virginia Alsup Harrington, and her brother Ralph Lamar Harrington Jr.

Pricilla will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
