Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Randy Brandon, a treasured husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, who departed this world on May 24, 2026, at the age of 69. Born June 11, 1956, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Randy lived a life full of love, laughter and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Randy was the beloved son of the late Edwin Spencer Brandon and Velma Lillian Brandon, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms at Heaven's gate. His life was a testament to love and dedication, especially an extraordinary 27-year marriage and 53 years of love for his wife Linda Brandon. The couple's journey began on June 9, 1973, in Millington, Tennessee, and together they raised a large, loving family that includes 6 children (1 son and 5 daughters), 26 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren, each of whom he adored deeply.

A revered Professional Crane Operator and accomplished Journeymen Ironworker, Randy dedicated over 50 years to his craft, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of working alongside him. He was a mentor to many, offering guidance and wisdom generously to those willing to learn. Randy's strong will, deep convictions, and refusal to give up inspired all who knew him.

Randy's presence was one of warmth and joy, characterized by his fun-loving wit and contagious laughter. He carried a gentle spirit beneath a rugged exterior and manner, embodying perfect balance of strength and tenderness. His love for his family was deep and unrelenting, extending beyond his immediate family to also include his siblings whom he held dear, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Randy had a deep faith and love for our Lord Jesus Christ, a faith that grew deeper with his years which was evident in his life and relationships. His curious mind and nature led him to be a deep thinker, always eager to explore and learn more about the world around him.

Randy will be remembered not only for the life he lived but for the love he gave and the legacy he leaves behind. He touched the hearts of many and will be dearly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. As we mourn his passing, we celebrate the incredible life he led and the everlasting impact he made on all of us.

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away" – Revelation
